Lissette Torres, PhD (ABD), LCAS, CSI, DBT – Founder/President
Lissette is the Co-Founder and President of Synergie with over 20 years experience in Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence and Teen Pregnancy programs/services. She served as the Clinical Director of Daymark Recovery Services from 2006-2008, and prior to that was the Director of the Phoenix House of New England for sixteen years. Professionally she focuses on increasing care and services for underserved populations and on developing partnerships and collaborations among nonprofit organizations, government entities, and school districts.
Lissette is completing her dissertation to obtain a PhD in Psychology and holds a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology and a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice from American International College.
Alesha Tuck RN – Healthy Communities Director
Alesha brings her experience as a School Nurse and Community Health Center Nurse to our Healthy Communities initiatives. As the Healthy Communities Director, she has oversight of all Synergie community health services as well as health and nutritional educational services focused towards minority/underserved communities. Alesha received her B.S. in Nursing from Queens University.
